Winter II Session has begun but there is continuous registration

ALL THE INFO:

Classes are 1 ½ h. Total cost of the semi-private classes are $275 for 8 weekly classes (12 h). Private classes are $390 for 8 classes (12 h). There is no tax on top of this fee. Another grouping of 8 classes will follow if you are interested in continuing. I offer a family discount of 10% when 2 or more children from a family are registered. Please pay with e-transfer when you register.

All classes include ALL necessary material (The printmaking class has an extra $30 materials fee). All classes will include a sketchbook. Small class size ensures individual attention.

I ask for payment by e-transfer as soon as you are registered. Please fill in a registration form, and confirm date and time with me by email. I put classes together as people register, by age, interest and day/time requested.

I am available to teach Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after-school from 4:00-5:30 and 5:30-7:00 as well as daytime 10:30-12:00 and 1:30-3:00. Please note that daytime class times are flexible. Registration is ongoing, so classes may be joined anytime if there is room. There is a maximum of 4 students per class, they are grouped by age and class type. This gives a good amount of workspace (at least half a table) and lots of personal attention. Please fill in the Registration Form (Button below) to Register. Please do this early to avoid disappointment. There is continuous registration even if you miss the beginning of a session.

Classes are in my third floor studio (stairs) at 84 Shore Rd. Dartmouth. I serve both Dartmouth and Halifax (quick hop over the MacDonald Bridge) areas.

I follow school openings so if schools are closed for holidays, PD days, snow days, etc. I will also close that day. You will still get the same number of classes. If students cannot attend a certain class, unfortunately they will miss that class. If, however, you know in advance you will be away for an extended trip, we can organize for you to pay for the number of classes where you will be here. I am flexible to meet the needs of my clients.

CLASSES for Children and Teens:

Ages 6-9 Art Explorer Various art methods and media are used in fun child friendly projects. Art history is included.

Ages 9-13 Let’s Draw! Class teaches drawing fundamentals and will be tailored to the children’s specific interests.

Ages 12-16 Intro to Printmaking (NEW) Non-press printmaking will be explored (mono-print, screen print, block print). This course will have an extra materials fee of $30.

Upon Request! I also offer homeschooler daytime classes, or parent/child classes when requested. Semi-private (2-6) or private. These classes are mornings, early afternoons or after school/work.

Adult CLASSES:

Art Exploration: Various art methods will be explored, including, but not limited to, drawing, collage, printmaking. This is a fun class to expose yourself to a variety of art media as well as various artists. I am also flexible to follow your interests.

Printmaking: Non-press printmaking will be explored (e.g. mono-print, screen print, block print, gyataku).

Drawing Classes: I offer drawing classes as its own art form and as the basis for other art media. Yes, you should learn how to draw and to observe, before you paint!

Most Adult Classes are private classes ($390 for 8 x 1 ½ h classes). With private classes, together we can arrange for you to travel or miss a class while having make-up classes. Please note, I do not offer painting or pottery classes.
